Personal information is information that can be used to identify an individual such as name, email, phone, location, online identifier (ip address, and browser user agent).
Information that we collect is in 3 categories:
When submitting requests to us, for further information on Nautical Group Holdings Products or Ordering products you will provide us Personal information such that we can fulfil your request. This is detailed in Section 1.1
We collect additional information that identifies a browser with your IP address automatically for the purposes of ensuring website operates and fraud detection & prevention as detailed in Section 1.2
If you consent to allowing cookies for analytics and tracking then we use 3rd party services which will place tracking cookies to identified your browser as detailed in Section 1.3
1.1 Personal information that you choose to give us
You give us information such as your name, address, email address phone number and employer when you request samples, CAD files or technical advice through our website, subscribe for our newsletter and updates or otherwise communicate with us.
You may give us additional personal information when you communicate with us about our products and services.
Fastmount Ltd enables some customers to log-in to our website and place an order via our online ordering system. You will need to supply a delivery address with your order.
Anyone under the age of sixteen years must not supply personal information to us
1.2. Personal information that we collect automatically
We receive information from the devices that you use to access Nautical Group Holdings websites, including your IP address and User Agent (a small piece of data that indicates what your browser software is and what version it is). When you visit our website we may use session cookies to store information in order to provide a more secure and faster service and for marketing purposes on the Nautical Group Holdings websites.

1.3. Optional tracking information collected
Nautical Group Holdings uses Google Analytics (which collects your browser identifying information when visiting Nautical Group Holdings site) to see page views and browsing activity on Nautical Group Holdings’ website. This is used for the purpose of improving the usability of our website.
Nautical Group Holdings uses Facebook (which collects browser identifying information when visiting the Nautical Group Holdings site) for more targeted advertising.

Google and Facebook can not supply your name/email/phone details to us and we don’t supply your personal details to Google or Facebook

We use your personal information to fulfil contracts with you, to contact you about your account, to improve our customer service, to meet our legal obligations and to detect and prevent security breaches or fraud. We use additional information to do internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behaviour to better understand and serve you and our market.
We store your IP address and User Agent on our web servers and backups for the purpose of fraud prevention and system debugging.
We store your personal details from requests for CAD files, samples and technical advice on our email and we may send these details to your nearest Nautical Group Holdings distributor in order to fulfil your request. These distributors may be in the same country as you or a different country.
We store personal information relating to product orders on our CRM system and backups for the purpose of fulfilling customer orders.
We store personal information from subscriptions to our newsletters and product updates on Campaign Monitor.
Information collected by Google and Facebook is stored by them and used for marketing and retargeted advertising.
Nautical Group Holdings does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
We release account and other personal information only when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law, enforce or apply our terms and conditions or protect the rights, property, or safety of Nautical Group Holdings or others.
Section 3. Protection of your information
We protect your personal information from loss and unauthorised access by security measures including data encryption, password protected authentication and physical access controls.
If you place an order by logging into our website it is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your personal information by ensuring that you log off when you have finished visiting Nautical Group Holdings and by not sharing your password with others.
Section 4. Retention of information
In order to protect our IP rights we retain some personal information for 20 years. This applies to contact information relating to product enquiries and sales.
We delete other sources of information as follow:
- Database backups: after six months
- Web server logs: after six months
- Google Analytics : 25 months
- System logs: 180 days

If you wish to have your personal details updated or removed from our directory for any reason, simply send us an email request info@fastmount.com. We will comply subject to any legal obligations that we have to retain information.
Fastmount will ask you to reconfirm your details from time to time to ensure ongoing consent to the use of personal data.
You can unsubscribe from our marketing database by clicking on the link in any marketing email that you receive from us.

Appendix iii. Internet statistics
Nautical Group Holdings, like most large websites, uses a counting system to collect information, such as the number of visitors per day or the number of pages requested per day. To do this, Nautical Group Holdings has a small piece of Google code on each page which counts these statistics. This enables us to better understand how our website is used, and how you found our website
